We stayed here in early July 2014 for a week. Hotel Certaldo is a beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms. The breakfast was wonderful with great choice. But it is the staff that are the true star of this hotel and made our trip with family from the USA a truely perfect holiday. The staff were very helpful and friendly and very helpful in relation to sights to see providing maps and directions and great tips especially Claudia who was like our personal tour guide giving us great advice!. A special mention to Lorena who served coffee with a smile every morning both in the cup with a smiley face and also in person! Certaldo itself is a lovely village with kind people and tasty restaurants and the old town is well worth a visit. Wish there was a higher rating for Hotel Certaldo as I would give it a much higher mark. Thank you Hotel Certaldo for a wonderful holiday and for doing such a wonderful job. I have already recommended the hotel to other people to visit if they are visiting Tuscany.

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. The breakfast was nice but the staff made it a truely perfect holiday. Very helpful and friendly. Certaldo is a lovely village with kind people and tasty restaurants, as well as the perfect location to tour the region. Great tips are the cooking school in Certaldo Alto and a wine tasting in the nearby vineyards.

We went during a relatively quiet period, but I can imagine that the pool would be a bit small during busier periods. Furthermore we would have liked more lunch or dinner options in the hotel itself.

Just returned from a 4 night stay here - what a beautiful hotel. This was just what I imagined Tuscany would be like. Room 209 was lovely. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor and a good size. Staff at the hotel were so helpful and nothing was ever any bother to them. We stayed here as part of the MotoExpress party and enjoyed the Mugello MotoGP. On race day it was a couple of hours drive but being part of the party you just sit back on the bus and enjoy the Tuscan scenery. This is a great base for discovering Tuscany. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying again.

Courteous staff, especially the young lady who served me with a cappuccino each morning with a smiley face in cocoa powder on top. Easy parking and once you know your way around it is easy to get to the hotel by car.

We really enjoyed our four night stay at the Hotel Certaldo. It offered excellent value for money and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous at all times. Excellent location for exploring the Tuscan countryside and the ease of access to the railway made getting to Florence and Sienna simple. Certaldo Alto which is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel is an absolute unspoiled gem.

We were given such a warm welcome by the staff even though we arrived all hot and sweaty on their doorstop (we were on a cycling trip) - the glass of cold orange juice went down an absolute treat. Everything we asked of them was 'do-able' - and it was all done with a smile. What wonderful people. The rooms were beautiful - I loved the fact that a light came on in the cupboard when I opened it to look for my clothes. The staff took time going through all the various restaurants that were open that night and recommended one in particular in the Old Town - it was in a gorgeous setting and the food was amazing. I cannot compliment the staff enough for the wonderful way in which they looked after us right down to filling our water bottles with iced water before we headed off on the next part of our cycling trip. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

The staff at Hotel Certaldo were very helpful and very nice to deal with. 24 hour reception was great, as well as late night use of the pool! The hotel is very modern with very comfortable, large rooms and the breakfast was beautiful, especially sitting outside on the grassed area.

Nothing bad to say ,except we had a hard time finding the hotel ! Not their fault if the rodes in Italy are not well indicated but a good map on their web page would help and maybe more than 1 sign in the village would be a good idea.

Our stay at the Hotel Certaldo was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were nicely decorated, with a fantastic and huge bed, but mainly the staff was exceptional! All of them were so helpful and friendly, and truely interested in us. they went out of their way to provide information and help with any bookings. Also the free water in the minibar is a nice little extra.
